Published by Sanoki Fine impression, color and condition. Some handling creases, mainly upper right corner of the right sheet. Beauties coming to see the plum blossoms in full bloom. Yearly Plum Festival there. The Sugita Plum Grove was first planted by the lord of Sugita, Mamiya Nobushige during the Tensho Era (1573-92) By the Genroku Era (1688 - 1704) the grove had flourished to over 36,000 trees. Located in Musoshi Province, one sees the Bosa Peninsula, Honmoku Bay and part of Kanazawa in the distance.
